I second that. I don't mind Giampaolo becoming coach, I do mind if Samp fodders follow him to Milan just because he coached them.

Also @reza, N'dombele 10000000% should be our number 1 target. I'd spend 60m+ on him even if it means we're limited on spending elsewhere & need to sell Donnarumma to fund it. I've said multiple times on the forum that he is one of the most likely players to be one the next best midfielders. He's so direct and pure class on the ball, he can literally cover any position in midfield including CAM. He'd fit a 4-3-1-2 perfectly & give us so much versatility.
Ideally he could fill Kessie's role because he has fantastic defensive qualities & work rate,  but he would also add a good dose of creativity and directness to our midfield at the same time.

I also like the news of Fofana to Milan. IF we sell Kessie for 30m+, Fofana can easily cover his void and will cost between 12-13m.

It’s not given that the identikit of Milan’s summer signing to be talents under 25. For the key roles, midfield for instance, Milan could invest more. Boban will have a primary role in choosing the midfielders, as well as the defenders for Maldini

Milan are considering Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira who is a very appreciated profile for Marco Giampaolo. Torreira is not considering a return to Italy atm but the hypothesis could become concrete in the next weeks [TMW]
