Summer Mercato 2019
we should enquire Mendes about Joao Felix NOT Falcao
We have 2 CFs in the team only, the second one can not already be impatient, come on. It is also on Gattuso to integrate players well, Piatek being hot is only one aspect that a coach must consider.

Joao Felix would be a very good buy, but near impossible cost wise, competition wise (Juve, Man City are looking at him seriously) and reputation wise too cause of Andre Silva.
They say Gattuso is good at man management. Let's see how he handles Cutrone.

Why do you think Joao Felix is impossible cost wise? His release clause is 120 mil. That's the max a club would have to pay for him. There is a good chance Benifica would sell him for a lower price, maybe around 60 or 70 mil. He's young so his salary wouldn't be too high, around 2 mil / year. Man City is full of wingers / 2nd fwds; they are more looking for a main striker as Aguero is getting old. Juve is interested in Felix but they might have to take back Higuain with his 18 mil gross salary.

There were also many clubs after Paqueta like PSG but he chose Milan. What makes you think Milan isn't as appealing as other clubs, especially if Milan is back in the champions league and has top directors like Leonardo and Maldini?

It's better Milan doesn't buy too many players. They can buy Felix and sign a free transfer substitute for Kessie. That's good enough.
You are not wrong but that is the type of player where there will be bidding war for. But 60 or 70 can be worth it, he is not far from a Kaka type.

Regarding the bolded part, Bro.. at this moment, any real appeal for Milan is just the fact that we are a team that isnt afraid sign and play young talented players.. Italian version of Dortmund sort of.. even if we do get to UCL next year, we are probably just a top 16 or Quarter-Finalst at best.. dont forget our team got dumped out of E.L in the group stages by Olympiakos.. we sure made very good progress since then but we are not serious contenders in UCL.. getting out of the groups would be the aim.. anything else is a big bonus.. Also, we are a team that is trying to maintain the wage structure, we cant afford to give ridiculous salaries as the other clubs..
Lastly, having great directors is good sure.. but having great coach that will improve players is the key factor.. we seem to have that in Gattuso but he has also proven to be a stubborn one sticking to underperforming players when there are alternatives on the bench.. Hakan/Kessie/Suso are example.

Regarding the underlined part, if we are gonna spend that much on Just a winger like Felix, in all honesty i'd rather we not.. simply because we have 0 creativity in the middle.. we need Both a Winger and a Creative Central Midfielder.. to push players like Hakan/Kessie to be better and consistent because there is a viable replacement waiting to take their place..

There are going to be many big attacking players that could be moving this summer: Coutinho, Luka Jovic, Nicholas Pepe, Bergwijn or Lozano, Timo Werner, Eden Hazard, Christian Erikssen, Icardi, Dybala, Gareth Bale, Felix.

This decreases the chances of a massive bidding war for any one player. I hope Milan go for Felix as him and Piatek could really be the new Sheva and Kaka for the next many years. Milan can also give him more chances of first team playing than some other clubs. Maybe they could even include a sell on % fee for Benifia to reduce the transfer fee.

Felix plays more in the middle. His main position is playmaker behind the fwd. Though he can also play on the wing or as a 2nd fwd.

I agree that Milan should not break the salary structure. It's the older players like Higuain and Bale that have massive salaries. Piatek only has a 2 mil salary. Felix would probably start out at a similar salary.
if Chiesa is available, I'd love to see him in our jersey.
We got dumped from EL but that was without Pacqueta, Baka playing at his best or Piatek. If we add two more starters without getting rid of any starters, we are going to have a pretty good young team WITH depth.

For me wingers are top priority with backup midfielder unless Biglia stays.
