If I remember correctly, Susic was considered a really promising talent when he played for Bosnia during the last World Cup (he was about 20/21 at the time). I can't say I know a huge amount about him, I remember he had the odd game where he did pretty well (mostly defensive work, though I believe he's a very rounded midfielder). That said, it's hard to believe this guy is the answer to our midfield problems, but I do find this rumour interesting, purely because it isn't a typical Galliani move and it seems we've probably actually been scouting the player. It's actually a purchase that would appear to have some long term planning in it too.
That said, I don't really see how the Niang deal should directly influence this deal. Actually, with Nocerino likely to be sold and having removed a couple of the costs on our squad (Suso, SES, Cerci), I wouldn't be shocked if the money we make/save would cover a large chunk of the cost to bring Susic in. On Niang, I'm split for the most part on selling him. The money offered is a good amount and Niang's still got a very long way to go to reach his potential. I think at this point I'd say no to selling him, but I'd be tempted.
