Welcome Alessio! Personal request by the coach - let's see how he'll do! I assume he'll be an automatic starter.

A good read !

That is a good read. I agree that there is a scarcity in quality centre backs, but Rubentus signed Rugani for a relatively low fee (considering) and he's shown just as much promise as Romagnoli, and Seria A experience alike. It's taking me a while to get over the fee we paid between him and Bertolacci, though I don't doubt that Romagnoli will repay. I'm not so sure if Bertolacci will be much better than Bonaventura, who as we know we paid much less for.

According to football Italia, his parents house has been vandalised with death threats aimed towards Romagnoli because of his alleged affinity for Lazio

This is nothing new, Roma fans have a history of this stuff. It's really sad though, a picture would create such a reaction, seeing as Romagnoli has always behaved professionally with them and put in some good performances with them.

Interesting article on Rugani and Romagnoli

http://gazzettaworld.gazzetta.it/feature...romagnoli/?

I think it was written mainly with Rugani in mind, with Romagnoli kind of tacked on at the end. Surprised that there's so many mentions of Cannavaro as the benchmark, with only the odd comment on Nesta. However, I think that's where it focuses on Rugani and drawing comparisons with Cannavaro (ex-Juve)
