RE: Milan Management - ACMILAN1983 - 02-21-2018

Yonghong Li recorded a video to deny the news reports that came out from Corriere Della Sera the other day.

From what I understand, the accusations in the report also can't be verified or have been outright denied, so at this point it should be taken with a pinch of salt.

What confuses me most ,lot of crap we listen in media ,and yet no proper response from "our side".

What's a proper response? They denied the news multiple times and did threaten legal action if it continued.

Yes ,they threaten legal actions every time but it never actually happen. And that's why those stories never stops.  Proper response would be those legal actions loooooong time ago. First time forgive and warn ,second time - let me take some money from you on court and goodbye.

RE: Milan Management - ACMILAN1983 - 02-21-2018

They've only threatened legal action once as far as I remember and tbh following on from that (and the upturn in form), the papers were generally quiet until this recent report.

Assuming there's nothing specifically to hide, I suspect Yonghong Li (who is the one under attack) probably doesn't want to go legal on the matter, as the time and cost to take Corriere Della Sera to court isn't something to take lightly. At the same time, I think there's a matter of politics involved here, in that it's in the interest of the club to try and maintain or build relationships with the press where they can. The fallback of taking one paper to court could have unwanted repurcussions if others see it as an attack on the press in general.

Again, this is assuming that everything is in order.

RE: Milan Management - Sampinjon - 02-21-2018

Well if that was boards goal - they clearly failed. Because those stories are not product of "good relationship with press".
About time and costs? He will take lawyers and they will spend their time and all costs (which are ,for man with that amount of money - nothing) will be refunded by Corriere after verdict is concluded. And also they will send clear message to all press - be nice or...
Taking one to court because of lies and fabrications they spoke about you infront of millions of people - is not ,and never can or will be , "Attack" on the press. At least not from angle of a sane person. So ,no worry from that side ,too.
Of course ,all that is assuming that Li have all evidences and all other stufff in order as you said.

As media can see that - he's threatening but do nothing ,there must be something fishy let's explore our stories further. It's like ,if some angry dog attack you. If you try to avoid or escape - it will just motivate him to attack you with even more rage. But if you smack him in head he'll run away. Or die. Depends how hard you hit.

Milan owner Li Yonghong is reportedly considering the possibility of selling 25 percent of the club to raise funds for their Elliott loan.
