RE: Summer mercato 2012 - ACM2023 - 05-29-2012 Seedorf is amazing. He must have a nerve made of steel. Also, Hernanes has firmly denied any rumor linking to a Lazio exit. Maybe we can indeed forget about him. There are reports that Arsenal will sign Giroud, at an £8.5m deal plus Chamakh. On milannews.it they usually give a weekly report on the loaned-out players and how they performed during the matches and i tend to follow up on those most of the times. Unfortunately, a lot of the players end up sitting on the bench and not playing or get subbed in for a few minutes every week and it's not like they are even playing for Serie A teams. Obviously we are not making the right choices regarding which of our youngsters should be loaned out and to which teams in order to get them the most playing time & most possibility for improvement or it is that our youngsters are actually crap that they cannot break into a pro-lega team. However, we all saw that Merkel and Strasser have at least some potential and tbh i think loan deals to Genoa & Lecce which are 2 Serie A sides where they can find enough playing time is not a bad idea (unfortunately they both got injured badly during the season). However, what makes it a bad idea is the fact that we did not have much better players on our 1st team to start with. So if we had the likes of Fabregas and Alcantara sitting on the bench, then I would understand sending them on loan but to have Seedorf or Urby as our major midfield subs then this does not make much sense. But to hope that Strasser becomes an Obi Mikel???? bad example RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Dha Brain - 05-29-2012 It looks like we'll officially open talks with Barca this week for Thiago Silva, I hope If the deal goes through we get Alcantara plus 30 mill anything lower than 30 mill is a joke, I dont want affelay because he had a serious injury a year ago, another question I have ALLEGRI did say De Sciglio will be part of the squad next year ?, is it possible he could play CB? I hope we get Sahin at 10 Mill we're basically robbing Madrid for him, midfield would be 100x better with a midfield of players Nocerino,Ambro,KPB,(*Alcantara),(*Sahin),Montolivo,(*Slowdorf),(Aquilani*), * the star stands for a possibility RE: Summer mercato 2012 - WCmilan - 05-29-2012 Dha where did you here were officially opening talks with barca for silva? RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Warro Bantan - 05-30-2012 So Chelski splurge for Hazard!! Niiice!! I always like to see FM in "real life"...even when it's not Berlu playing the game. My outlook this season is very pessimistic in terms of us buying anyone for a ton of money..Berlusconi just doesn't want to, or can't, spend...and without his "gifts", the club in and of itself, without going into debt, simply can't afford to spend either. That said, I think the acquisitions of Montolivo and Traore are good business...and if we get 85...heck, even 75% return on investment like we managed with Nocerino, then we will have done well. As far as I understand, Berlu has a major fine to pay....and coupled with FFP (if that indeed is enforced) our ability to spend vast amounts a la Chelski and Man City is seriously curtailed...could be the perfect excuse not to though...But who knows what the true situation is w/ Berlu anyway?? We probably have £15M* to spend on filling all the gaps in the team...which doesnt stretch have very far nowadays, especially if you are looking for real top players....so let's see how creative Galliani can be! *Totally random value based on nothing more than "gut" feeling RE: Summer mercato 2012 - ZvonimirBoban - 05-30-2012 (05-29-2012, 07:52 PM)xudong Wrote: There are reports that Arsenal will sign Giroud, at an £8.5m deal plus Chamakh. And then Montpellier rejected it. They only want the £8.5m. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - WCmilan - 05-30-2012 I seriously can't believe our finances, maybe we're okay for a couple of years with our current finances, maybe we'll be considered a "big" club for a few more years.. but then what happens after, I mean seriously with FFP and all.. galliani nor berlusconi have said we wont sign anyone.. so far all we can go based on is ibrahimovics stupid comments in that interview, but if there to be true i dont see us having a very bright future. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Gabriel426 - 05-30-2012 Slowdorf resigning is a clear sign the MGT does not want to compete. Silva and Ibra, heck even Boateng, leave the team bc you deserve better than playing with the current Milan players. Honestly, I don't care even if Slowdorf is playing for free, he is taking a roster spot for someone who can actually contribute game in and game out for Milan. Some say Slowdorf was good in CL, while honestly, I really don't think he added anything extra in Milan CL campaign. Afterall, even without Slowdorf I am sure Milan could still get into the Quarter Finals. Sometime I wonder do players have pride or know when to quit, apparently for every Nesta and Gattuso, there will be Kaladaze and Slowdorf. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - ACM2023 - 05-30-2012 The final "good" CL game of Seedorf was two seasons ago, when Milan drew 0-0 with Tottenham. Since then, he has had only one good moment which was when he passed to Ibrahimovic whose shot was too weak and saved by Valdez. Seedorf was amazing in CL, but that is history now. If somehow he stays, I would be utterly disappointed too. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Gabriel426 - 05-30-2012 Some teams complain they can't compete bc of they don't have money, while to most of them, it is true but that's not the case to Milan. Milan got tons of money, they just spent them on players who cant perform or players who don't deserve that salary. Take last year as an example, in the DM spot, Milan paid 13million for 2 players to play that role. Although MVB and Ambro are good players but were they really worth 13million salary combined? Could Milan just have MVB and Strausser as DMs? Then you have Zambro, and Flamini who combined for 16mil, and when you considered the numbers of games played between them, it will be about 1mil per game. Bonera makes 4mil a year, while I am sure Milan could get someone at least equal to his level for half of that salary. Mexes made 8 mil a yr, and I don't care if he is a Free transfer, b/c that salary is still way above market value. Gattuso, Slowdorf, Urby and Robinho are a combined 28mil salary, when the whole team is healthy, are all bench players. Taiwo and Mesbah are a combined salary of 7mil. All these players mentioned are all surplus, except for MVB, to Milan and can easily be replaced by someone who cost half their salary. Just read reports that Zhang Zhi Yi, an actress, gets paid 10mil RMB = 1mil Euro, for sex with government official a night. If Berlu actually pay that much for sex, he could help MIlan sign Hernanes, Lucas, Honda, Dede, Strootman, Acerbi and Ogbonna by not having sex for a month(3 girls per night). |
