You clearly don't understand what I'm saying. I'm not saying their league is no good. Just that certain playing types fit certain league's more. This isn't a new idea. Players have been fitting in certain league's better than others for many many years.

Simply put... Technical player do better in technical leagues. Players like Kessie and Cutrone, who are less technical, more physical, are better suited to the EPL which is a more Physical and less Technical league.
Does it mean that there aren't Physical players that work well in Italy? No.
Does it mean that there aren't Technical players that work well in England? No.

There's no need to get all Angry EPL fanboy just because someone says that someone like Kane wouldn't be the same if he changed league's.

It all started because of the Kessie fitting EPL and I expanded a little on that. Sorry. My bad.

How did i understand u wrongly when i even quoted u on what YOU said..? Its clear as daylight what u meant on the quoted part..  when i responded it made me an EPL fanboy? I do watch quite alot of their games simply as time pass and EPL is way bigger & better at the moment.. and to be fair plus honest, that league is currently Miles ahead of Serie A at the moment.. quality wise of players..

I do agree that certain types of players fit in certain leagues better.. but that was what u did NOT imply in the quoted part i highlighted..

RE: Summer Mercato 2019 - slifersd - 08-06-2019

I am weirdly excited about this team for the new season. It feels like we are moving in a completely different direction than prior years, despite not signing a single player who is a big time star. This team is younger, more balanced and finally has the looks of a modern football team with players who can do more than just one thing out there. A few of my takes on recent news:

I would gladly gladly take Modric. He is the engine that can push this team to the next level. I know he is old, but Modric is such a Pirlo like player that age doesn't matter to him. We have a few midfielders on the roster already who can push forward and defend, and all they need is a brain like Modric to absolutely flourish.

I think Correa is extremely over priced and wouldn't be upset at all if we don't end up signing him. Sure he is young and has talent, but his production has been so bad that I can't figure out how he is worth 50M. We are talking about a bona fide bench player from Atletico who scored 3 goals last season and he is going to cost 50M. Even in this market, that is sheer lunacy and I hope we don't give into that demand. I know Correa fits a team and I am not saying I mind the player, but at 50M, that is just terrible business.

I really don't get why we are pushing Andre Silva out so hard right now. Sure he hasn't really worked out so far, but his value is so low that I feel like we are better off keeping him around and try to help him work through his problems rather than selling so low. Maybe it is just me, but I do feel like he has the talent to turn it around if only there are proper coaching around him.

I feel weird saying this because I am usually the complete and total opposite, but I don't really want Pellegri on this team next year. I am just not sure what his fit on this team would be next season. If we couldn't find room for Cutrone, then how are we going to find a fit for this guy? He would cost way too much to leave on the bench and rot. But he can't contribute much since he is so young, under developed and hasn't played in like a year. He sounded like an interesting talent when Monaco signed him, but he is hardly a can't miss prospect and I don't think this team is the right place for him next year to develop at all. If we are looking for a bench striker, keep Silva, who at least has done more at the senior level.

Halilovic playing style was similar to Messi, does he become Croatian Messi??? Huh
Andre Silva was heir to Cristiano whose playing style was similar to Ronaldo. Does he become one??? Huh

Cutrone somewhat plays like Paloschi but that doesn't make him one. I remember when Man. City signed Bernando Silva literally most of 'fake' critics designated to be a flop but see him now.
I have seen many technically weak players doing great in EPL but seen many skillful players like Di Maria doing nothing there.
It's not like players who do blind tricks and skills become great players then players like Kerlon and Mastour would have become GOATs of Football. Football is not a Circus.

EPL media have 0 clue about what football looks like outside of their country.
as for Bernardo, was always a talent... But Pep has turned him into a superstar.

That second comment... technically weak players is almost a requirement to play EPL. LEt's be honest here. Many of their "Best" wouldn't be that if they moved to a different league.

That being said, I stick to what i've said a few times now. Cutrone will do really well in the EPL. Similarly... If Kessie gets bought by an EPL team, he'll kill it there.

This one was me being funny. But you can be technically weak but still be a top player.

This is what I keep saying. You can quote me all you like. if you keep misunderstanding what I'm saying, nothing will change. Context. you cant read my reply without taking the previous comment in context.

I did not say the EPL was weaker. Never have. I've always said it was less technical... always has been...
many of their best, Kane being a good example, would not be the best in the Serie A.
This is not a new thing. How many great EPL players have left and done average elsewhere.
Similarly, how many average players have gone to the EPL and done great there.
It's got nothing to do with the quality of the league, nor the players, and all to do with the style of play.

Kane would be a big flop in La Liga. It's my unbiased opinion and it's the reason why Real Madrid didn't bought him last summer when despite winning WC golden boot. You could have given examples like Berkamp, Thierry henry, Coutinho, Gascoigne many more

Ben Yedder would be a great choice upfront. Piatek looked tired and unmotivated in Preseason.

He once even trolled us

that I could have. There have been many, "Better" players, who have left EPL and failed.

similarly, there have been Top players who have been Top flops in the EPL...

eg. Veron...

Soso will be among those leaving for AC Milan this summer, according to media reports.

The newspaper 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', that Suso did not convince the management of the team as a game maker and renewing his contract is very expensive.

She pointed out that although coach Marco Giampaolo is required to stay, he will be deported by a decision of the management of the team only in case of an update.

She explained that Roma wanted to sign Suso but the Rossoneri management was not interested in the offer.

And concluded that coach Marco Giampaolo wants Suso and the team management wants Angel correa to make him captain

Milan are reportedly still keen on signing Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet – but only if Franck Kessie leaves.
