That's the only thing I can come up with. But for me, they are not a surprise. Just a team that's finally starting to olay up to its potential. Imo, they're the team with the potential to break up this "new 7 sisters" thing.

Fiorentina have often had an average to shit coach.

not only that, cutrone is in Empoli now and he almost scored a screamer.

Locatelli had two chances to score, but couldnt

I think he has been known as a slow starter. Let's not discredit him too quickly, who knows, Juventus may creep back up.

They'll do fine. They'll fight for top honors. But he may not be able to get away with a slow start this time. This Juventus team has shades of Allegri's Milan downfall in the early 2010s. Bunch of names that have not performed at the highest level for a while now. Overpaid and with the hopes that they'll start performing like they did 3-4 years ago. 3-4years is a long time in football. So although in his previous spell, his slow starts were bailed out by the squad he had....it may not be that dimple this time around.

Put it this way...imo, Serie A is an open playing field for all this year. Where Juventus was seen as the heavy favorite until last season....it is no longer the case. At this moment, I don't put them ahead of any of the top 7. And it's a toss up whether they'll make it to the top 4 also. As it is for any of the other top 7 teams. With the changes at Juventus (negative) and Inter (yet to see how their departures and and arrivals will balance), as well as Roma (positive), Napoli (positive) and Lazio (we'll see)..I think this is going to be one of the tightest title races in a long time. And the status quo at Atalanta and Milan is actually good....because the expectation for both is that they'll keep growing and improving (the continuity in this case imo is highly positive for both teams).

I know it is only two rounds, but when was it the last time that two Milan teams and two Rome teams take the top 4 seats on the table?

I think so, the departure of Giuseppe Marotta was the beginning of a clueless Juve in Mercato.

In this season I don't know why they must buy Locatelli when there are: Rabiot, Ramsay, McKennie, Bentancur, and Arthur.

I happily miss the old Juve with tireless warriors, creative playmakers, skillful fantasista and no-nonsense clinical CF. This Juve lack fighting spirit, stamina on the wings, creativity at the center, and a reliable CF.

They are still very strong for current Serie A, but not as intimidating as before.

Maybe dude who comments  Serie A games on serbian TV will tell. He's obsessed with such informations. Last night he spoke about Cagliari player who if scores against Milan will became only fourth in Cagliary history who managed to score 3 goals in first 2 games.
Once he spoke about sufferings Yaya Toure ancestors survived under imperial boot and about his grand-grand-grand mother who sneaked herself into some ship and escaped from I don't know where to I don't know where.  Confused
