Honestly.

You're right I guess...

At least try and keep a clean sheet.

Cesena is last, and hopefully the guys will wake up and beat the sh*t out of them. I want a big win, that will give the team some confidence.

All the more reason for them to park their bus trying to obtain their first point. To make it worse, not only we'll be playing without a striker of Ibra's ilk normally invaluable for a game like this, there's a good chance we'll start without any real CF.

Damn, I hope I'm not tempting the fate with that sentence Angel

RE: Serie A - ACM2023 - 09-21-2011

anyway, something fun: obviously RB is still on Inter's payroll. Now Merda has to pay Benetez, Gasparini, Rarieni, all at the same time.

Well, I really don't want to see Carlo or Ranieri at Inter.

Don't worry about Carletto. Here are his words few months ago. "If I would go to Inter in place of Leonardo? No, although I respect certain personal choices. I've spent 13 years at Milan, for me it is impossible to deny the past. Moratti said he thought also of me? I thank him for the kind words but I don't change my mind, I'm an AC Milan man. And in the event that Moratti had to call me in the future, I'll politely decline the invitation."

Ranieri on the other hand is a likeable, eternal loser so I keep my fingers crossed for him to be their next coach Big Grin

I'm not really worry about Carlo either. Those are the names I think can help Inter.

Ranieri is not a winner, but he is a great tinker. He can help to reorganize the team.

Official: Ranieri is the new Inter manager. Will he last until Christmas? Big Grin

RE: Serie A - ACM2023 - 09-22-2011

Ranieri is known to be a great "interim" coach. I like him actually. I believe that he will lead Inter back to top 3, but don't believe that he is a "champion coach" though, which is good enough for me.

Hopefully they'll be out of Europe! Big Grin

Hopefully they will be relegated to Serie B, but I don't think it will happen. I certainly don't think that Inter would be out of Europe. Dodgy They have a good squad still. Their only problem is morale.

RE: Serie A - theaxeofpain - 09-23-2011

Them relegated would be fantastic. Big Grin

They also look a bit unfit IMO.

That almost happened in 93-94. I was hoping for that, I remember. I believe that they were safe only after 33 rounds (34 in total), and the final standings showed that Merda were only 1 point higher than those who were relegated.

Interestingly, Merda won the UEFA Cup in that season, making Milano the only city ever to have two clubs winning European trophies in a same season (we were the UEFA CL champions Okmilan).
