RE: Serie A - ACM2023 - 08-16-2017

Juve signed Matuidi for 20M plus 5M bonus. Wish we got him, especially for that price.

Now let's hope he flops.

RE: Serie A - Aficio - 08-17-2017

Good price. I also hope we signed him for that price, because he could be perfect for us as a rotation player, and starter if we choose to play defensively.

He is 30 already.

But Juve have 2 CM/DMS who are also 30 and injury-prone (Kherida & Marchisio). This is just a quick fix.

It is great if he flops Big Grin

RE: Serie A - ACM2023 - 08-17-2017

30 isn't old. It is a golden age and he happens to be one of my favorite non-Milan players. If we signed him, he would not be a rotation player. He would walk into the starting lineup. Unfortunately he had to pick Juventus.

We could still use a few stars in the midfield. Hopefully when we get better and better (and more importantly, back to CL), we will be able to attract more great players.

RE: Serie A - nefremo - 08-20-2017

Watching Atalanta - Roma and Roma does not look that good to be honest. Not as fluid as last season. Surprisingly, Atalanta actually look like they haven't lost a step even with all the sales. Still early in this game, but Atalanta looks like the better and more dangerous team to me.

RE: Serie A - nefremo - 08-20-2017

God damn it Atalanta!!! Roma was absolute sh!t!!! Especially in the second half. They were defending for their life. I guess 3 points is 3 points.

Atalanta showed that it won't be easy to play against them away. They will take points away from many top teams at home this season. Pretty bad in the box in terms of finishing moves, but nonetheless they will be a sold side. I think the quality they lost with Gagliardini, Kessie, and Conti will show in the long run. Even though they are still good, I don't expect them to break the top 7 again this season. For example, had they had those players today, I think they would have broken Roma sooner or later and would have scored at least a goal. Oh well. Sucks for them.

IMO, 30 is golden age for CB and GK.

30 is declining age for DM. Some lost it: Viera, Emerson, Gilberto Silva,... Some retained it: Gattuso, Makelele, Van Bommel,...

I am not sure who he will be like, but this season he must carry a big burden. Pjanic is creative player, Kherida & Marchisio are injury-prone and struggling with form.

RE: Serie A - ACMILAN1983 - 08-21-2017

Looks like Inter will get Cancelo. After Dalbert, that could really strengthen weak spots for them. I still think they needed a top midfielder and a top RW/RWF, but they look set to be strong.

RE: Serie A - PassiamoAlleCoseFormali - 08-25-2017

Juve and Napoli they will contend the title until the end,Inter is much better than what people believe ,Roma in my opinion it is very bad as a team.
Instead for us for now I can not make a judgment because i want to know with which module they want to play and Biglia he will make the difference in midfield much more than Bonucci.
I'm waiting for the match against Lazio.
